LIFE IS SHORT

                              LIFE IS SHORT
A sober observation of life would reveal to you that life is invariably short. Hence, the need for everyone to disdain procrastination and do things timely. Remember the popular saying that “delay is dangerous.” That saying is very true. People have now laid down a conventional way of living life which every human being that desires the best for himself and his household would follow. Virtually everyone nowadays both home and abroad is expected to procure his or her first degree between the ages of early twenties to middle twenties. And people in their late twenties are expected to be among the virile working class of the nation. So also there seems to be a stipulated time for retirement in any work one is engaged in. being able to do everything at the appropriate time and not belatedly depicts that you are wise to some extent. Time is the mark of an organized person. Anyone that realizes that time is short and makes a conscious effort to plan his or her life early enough would have little regret in the latter part of his life. Confucius said “ if a man hear the right way in the morning, he may live the evening with no regrets.” The right way is being obedient to your parents and other older people when young and also planning your life at an early stage. Planning your life at an early stage makes more things to be achievable and regrets to be negligible.
It is never too late to change and try to put your life in order and plan but be cognizant of the fact that some water has passed under the bridge. You might not achieve greatly as someone who has planned his life earlier also people may not regard your life as being sublime.
We as Nigerians should learn to do things at the right time. We shouldn’t live as if we are in control of time and tide. We should live everyday making our life better, productive and sublime.
